How would you keep all your bags?
Comments (4)Here are a couple moore ideas. I like that the brightly colored collection adds to the decor in the first one. The second one is great if you have room to hang them in on the rod. Simple shower curtain rings would do the trick....See MoreBland entrance way :(
Comments (3)You might paint the end wall an accent color, then put a simple canvas painting up. The chest doesn't seem to serve your needs - looks like you need shoe storage, a place for bags and to hang hats .. The odds and ends there make it worse instead of better - Try a long shelving system with art above, and move the chest to the end of a bed or in front of a loveseat. The nighstand / end table needs a chair....See MoreWhat was the last household purchase you made?
Comments (2)My last household purchase was new sliding doors to the outside from my dining room. This then led to the building of a deck, new railing on said deck and existing terrace, new blinds as the old window length curtains no longer did the trick, then the paving stone path to the deck from the garden gate, some new planting to accommodate that, AND outdoor lighting for what has now become an alternative entrance to the house! Oh, and painting as well. So I can liken my last purchase to a bit of a triffid - it kept growing! But SO worth it! It has added another room/space to my house, increased light and warmth, added value and created a more welcoming entrance than before. Love it!...See MoreDoes combining a bathroom & laundry work?
Comments (8)It all depends on what you want to do in your laundry and what in your bathroom I guess. I appreciate the fact that there might not be enough space to do this but I store outdoor shoes in the laundry and the dog's leash and cleaning stuff. I need room to sort the dirty laundry into piles before washing it. I keep the ironing board in there and I need a tub to wash things in and to do flowers in and to put the odd cloth that wiped up the cat sick before it gets rinsed and washed.. heaps of things other than just washing. Couldn't manage with a cupboard laundry ( piles of washing on the hall floor when using it) and think these kinds of laundry functions might not make a gorgeous lavendery bath or shower feel that luxurious. So I am for as big a laundry with tubs, cupboard and bench nearest the outside back entrance and yes washing line as poss. And a lovely fresh warm bathroom near the bedroom separate from the dirty clothes and boots and all that other stuff....See MoreLiz
