Bathroom layout help needed
Comments (4)Do you want this to be a big reno? meaning, will you replace things totally or do you want to work with what you have mostly? will you add a toilet to the bathroom? if you replace the vanity, you can put in a larger one curving around the corner with a medicine cabinet above. If you replace the shower with one flat on the ground, you can also put in clear doors for bigger visual space. how about re-painting as well...See MoreAwkward bathroom - needs a complete makeover and new layout. Comments (6)Third vote for getting a professional involved, but i'll still offer my layman's suggestion given that you're just soliciting general ideas at this point. If it was my space, I'd switch the bathroom and the laundry room around, keeping just one of the walls currently enclosing the toilet. Comments (0)Hi - about to renovate our bathroom and so far we are keen on using a combo of large marble/carrara floor tiles which will also go into shower area and up the walls of the walk in shower. We also want to use white subway tiles on another wall. For the vanity we are thinking of black wooden drawers with plain white stone top and white basin . For the tap ware we are keen on gunmetal but worried it might look dated in a few years. We want a contemporary look though. What are your thoughts on this combo. We thought of doing the vanity drawers in pale grey but think it might need the black to “lift” it as there is already too much grey/white in the tiles. Thoughts? Anyone got pictures of similar combos? Thanks!...See MoreMain Bathroom Layout... HELP!!!
Comments (5)Hi Fernando. Not sure if you have considered the shower door in your layout, either the bath traps or it collides with the bathroom entry door, some awkward gaps by the bath and vanity there too, cleaning will drive you crazy. What do you think of this layout? This means you can have a 900 x 1200 shower with a sliding door and just room for a towel rail next to the vanity. Let me know how you go!...See MoreKate
