Looking for some house exterior render colour suggestions to go with tiled ironstone coloured roof/gutter and paperbark fascias, window frames and garage door.
Without seeing the house ( different styles and even different environments suit different colours ) , I'd say you will have to go with a lightish off-white . Personally , with an ironstone roof , I would have gone white or offwhite on the trim , and then a surfmist or similar render ( a bluish tinge ) , but it doesn't play well with paperbark IMO , unless you had say cedar highlights and entry door to divert the look , and add another material and colour .
The paperbark is the challenge, as if we choose a modern grey tone, the paperbark will appear yellow. We are looking at timber steps and change of front door so will have the timber colour to help.
I suspect grey in 10 years time will be like paperbark is now , and how yellowy buttery beige and forest green have been for ages -- basically , overdone and everyone will be sick of it . An off-white is more timeless IMO , and will work better with the paperbark trim , and timber with a nice stain will add to it again .
I have a paperbark rendered home with a wallaby roof and gutter and the fascia is surmist. I would choose a render slightly darker than the surmist in a grey tone. Good luck.
