Tilers - order of steps advice please

I’m undergoing a bathroom renovation (ensuite) and our tiler has just finished the waterproofing. I thought they would screed the floor next then tile the floor, then the walls then finish with the skirting tile around the non tiled walls. However, they’ve just advised that they’ll tile the walls first then do the floor. Is that right? Does it matter whether you do the floor or the walls first? Also, I assume they will have to screed the floor at the very least as a next step? Or can they tile the walls and then screed? Tilers I welcome your thought. Thanks 🙏🏻

I would say it is a efficient way to do the bathroom. Walls first then floor. If they do the floor first then it is a time delay before the floor can be walked on, therefore the walls would be delayed.
