Rescuing a Cute Cottage

Hi Houzzers, I have an opportunity to rescue this hundred year old cottage!! The house is currently hidden by overgrown trees so this photo is from 10-15 years ago.

I don't like the staining that shows on light roofs so am starting with Basalt Colorbond Roof & Gutters.

As much as I would love to go bold with a colour, we will be renting out the house so need to keep inside neutral, and feel the house needs to be light coloured to stand out under the foliage and because it is small.

SO I'm currently tossing up the following:

Walls & Stair walls - Silver Tea Set / Tranquil Retreat / Terrace White/ Vanilla Quake

Windows, trims, eaves & fascia - 1/4 Lexicon

Railing, stairs & front door - Monument . ( NB. Whilst a pop of colour on the front door would be fun, it will be covered by a flyscreen door.)

Would love to know your thoughts or see your pics if you've done something similar?

Thanks in advance!
