Agree. Upgraded modern landscaping would improve the whole facade. Paint the fence alongside the driveway, install a new letterbox and upgrade the front door and then re-evaluate.
The fence on drive looks tatty in photo, but photo may not do it justice, and doesn’t match house. A solid fence rather than paling would suit better. Painting what you have may be a cheap small improvement,
And prob dark to tie in with house roof next door. Your landscape plan may create a garden bed along that fence adding greenery to hide fence and soften edge.
In the photo the fence looks rundown doesnt match your house, so maybe just a stain job, paint job, cover with plants. The fence is the standard that comes with new homes so you could change it for colourbond if budget allows, its not a necessity and you can just paint or disguise it aswell.
House looks good, updating landscaping would instantly bring it a more modern look, use architectural plants, grasses, strappy leaves, and a new letter box would look great.
