I have a large playroom that needs to be finished. It has a low roof, lighting from the front and side windows only (shown in the pictures) and a lovely post in the centre of the room! I am told that humidity is an issue in this room. The couch has been thrown out so isn’t an issue. The post can’t be removed.
I want this room to be a fun playroom for the kids and their friends.
- What colour do I paint it to keep it light and bright?
- should I put cabinets are wood at the end wall to create a feature?
- What flooring do I go with (kids will ruin carpet in no time but polished concrete is not an option as we are on a sloping block and concreting companies are telling me they can’t get a grinder to this level as the machines are too heavy). Do I stick with carpet or do something like wood look tiles? Conscious of kids falling over
- what layout would you do?
Finally, HELP! All advice warmly welcomed.
