Thanks oklouise. We have space to have a single garage built at the side of the house - on a long driveway. We dont need a bigger garage.. just surprised how expensive they are to build a new one so considering fixing old one! It does take up a large chunk of the back garden - maybe 25% so its a bit of an eyesore really. But dont want to knock it down and regret it so tricky to know what is best!
