What are your door and cabinet handles in each room?

all internal door handles are chrome. cabinet handles are black in kitchen and master ens. Other bathrooms: no handles.

Brushed nickel is lovely and subtle, black will give a more impact. Don't be afraid to mix metals I think brushed nickel and black go well together.

Depends, statement fittings are a nice idea, I wouldn't shy away from brushed nickel in the kitchen and bronze in the bathroom as long as there was cohesion with the colour palette.
