We have a downpipe and Rainhead positioned by the porch and another Rainhead by the study room (highlighted in green), which are currently uninstalled. Our builder mentioned that these were unnecessary since the part of the roof has flashing capping without gutters, a detail we were previously unaware of. However, I've noticed that other houses with similar roofing structures do have Rainheads installed.
The downpipe highlighted in yellow not yet connected through and needs to be installed properly as the lower roof extended out 600 mm.
I'm concerned about the potential implications of this setup and am wondering if there is anything we could do to ensure better drainage?
