Frameless shower screen worth the $?

last year

We currently have a semi-frameless shower screen. We need a replacement. We have the option for a full frameless shower screen for $700 more. I've read that framelsss is easier to clean. Is this true? Is it worth $700 more?

$700 buys a lot of chux to wipe down the framed parts of the semi-framed version.

The price is for the thicker glass required. You will have less joins that can potentially go mouldy. But really it is about the look

    Love frameless shower screens

I like the look of frameless shower screens as well. It's enough of a chore keeping the glass clean without having to clean more joins between glass and frame.

And re your second post - yes I have frameless shower screens. Also a frameless glass door into the ensuite.

Belinda x, are you also fixing the gap between your shower screen and bath. No use installing a new shower screen if it is not accessible to clean between the bath and screen. (I am referring to two previous posts regarding your bathroom)

Thanks for the replies yes we are getting a new frame because of that exact issue the shower screen wasn't installed correctly and the gap is terrible to clean.
