Wet room design and replace vessel sink

I purchased a 1661 Mill in Northern Tuscany last year and I am starting some renovations. I have sourced some items from a friend who is demolishing her bathroom and some other items. I am intending on covering the tiles on the walls, floor with venetian plaster and also between the wooden beams on the ceiling. It is an irregularly shaped wet room with the drain in the middle, it is a bit larger than pictured as it also has a window (facing shower it is to the right) and has a radiator and more towel rails before the bidet.

I am thinking of keeping the medicine cabinet for storage and just adding the mirror hinged onto the front. And also adding a frame shelf shampoo/conditioner/bodywash holder (in final photo)

I am going to place the old sanitary items, bidet and toilet but wasn't sure if I should update the sink to a wooden shelf with a brass vessel. I have taps that match the taps in the shower which are aged brass with swarovski chrystal knobs.

Thoughts regarding sink or any other suggestions?
