I would do even drawers. 560mm is fine. What are planning on storing in them that requires more width? Are you having a dishwasher? Think about where you’d unload glassware, crockery etc. Do some run through in your head of the breakfast rush, everyone grabbing snacks and getting dinner on the table. Make sure the layout matches how you live.

I think 560 carcass width is way too narrow. I think 850 wide will give you better storage.You need to consider what you will be putting in the drawers and therefore how much width you need. Measure out how much space you need for what you intend to store in those drawers. My Blum drawers were made to 750 wide (carcass width) which gives me 670 internal width and works perfectly for me.

The cook top is too close to the left edge. 300mm is not a wide space. You may find things fall off the edge. Ask yourself, which way do you use a cooktop. Ingredients and utensils on the left or the right side of cooktop. I would centre the cooktop and have windows either side with a wall in the middle.

Agree with above and needing space on the left hand side for safety. Is there an issue with the window ? It may need to be upgraded to be a compliant splashback if the cooktop moves.

It's not shown on the design, but to the left of the cooktop is a wall, so there's no danger of anything falling off. We will just use that narrow area for spatulas / knives or something hung on the wall.

We are also thinking to reduce the cooktop to be a 60cm size rather than 80cm .

My suggestion was to move cooktop and oven to the centre and have a wall as the splashback for cooktop area, then two splashback windows either side.
But since you have now said there is a wall to the left of cook top, that should be okay, things won’t drop off the edge.

An example of splashback windows either side of cooktop. But your design shows overhead cupboards not just a shelf.

Back to the drawers next to the oven. What are the heights of the drawers? Each group of drawers should be: one that can hold shallow items, like coffee cups or plates. Then two deeper drawers for saucepans, lids, serving dishes. All items can be stacked, as drawers give you are full view to all contents. Having three drawers all the same height is not utilising the space efficiently. As an example I have spices in the shallow drawers and coffee cups.

I have two set of 3 drawers. The drawer front is 800mm wide. This is a good width for storage of all types of items. You have the width for the same.
I also have one set of three drawers at 600mm wide. This is my shallow spice drawer and food item storage.

A better example of my suggestion for moving the cooktop and oven to centre. With windows either side. This photo also shows a good drawer set up.

Can you open up the wall next to microwave to make it easier to use bench. Have wide and narrow drawers. Wider are a little more expensive. Cutlery drawers should be 4 drawers. Need deep drawers for bulky goods like pots and salad bowels etc so sets of 3 work well there.

Good point Kate, regarding cutlery drawer, I can not see a set of 4 drawers. These will traditionally hold the cutlery, kitchen utsensils, tea towels, and kitchen plastic wrap, baking paper etc. 4 drawers ideally should be, drawer front …width 450mm x height 190mm.

Definitely interested in the idea of the window being either side with the oven in the middle. We might look into whether this is possible .

Will also see about the 4 drawers for the cutlery one. We currently have everything as a shallow top drawer and then two equal, deeper bottom drawers.

Probably won't open that bench around the microwave. It's meant as an area to hide the toaster, kettle, coffee machine etc, hence the wall there.

We have now updated the design to adjust some of the drawers and get a bit more width on the middle ones
