We've been visiting quite a few display homes lately and it's been really helpful for visualising what we want in our future home. Seeing layouts in person is very different from looking at floor plans online.
One thing I've been wondering though how closely does the finished home actually match the display home? I know many display homes showcase upgrades and premium inclusions, so I'm interested to hear from people who have built recently.
If you've worked withcustom home builders Melbourne, did your completed home feel similar to the display home that inspired you? Were there any features you loved during the display visit that didn't work as well in everyday life?
I'd also love to know:
• Did visiting display homes Melbourne help you choose a builder?
• What design ideas or features did you end up including in your own home?
• Were there any upgrades you felt were worth the investment?
• Looking back, did the display home accurately represent the quality and finish of the final build?
We're currently comparing different home designs Melbourne builders offer, so hearing some real experiences would be really helpful.
