What colour should I paint the wall behind the table?
Comments (6)I love your outside entertaining area. It does need a color that would complement but give the area a focal point. I like the darker red, orange colors you may find in natural. You could dress up the table with accessories and place cushions in a complimentary color on the benches. Colored potting containers would also bring it all together. I like the uplighting here in the photo you could place along the back fence to add drama. Your area reminds me of Modern mediterranean landscaping....See MoreWhat colour curtains should we choose?
Comments (12)I'd like to suggest that the most important thing here is more about who is using the room. If It's a child's bedroom use lovely children's curtains - there's so much around and any pattern could pick up the wall and floor colours. If a guest room and not used often I'd suggest a beautiful velvet or good quality Linen and forbid the little ones from going in to that room!!!!!! alternately a blind attached at floor level could be raised or lowered so the view is still there but with privacy from waist height perhaps. Good luck. Bee...See MoreExterior paint colours for our house

There is a roller door on the garage that appears to be a nice shade of orangey yellow . Personally , I would go with your colour choices , but do all the doors ( roller doors , wooden doors ) and gutterings in that ochre shade . Your terrace I would do in a charcoal , but with the top rail either in the orangey yellow , or a really crisp white . I know that sounds a bit 70's ( although they would have added a lot of ranch brown back then haha ! ) but against the light grey I suspect it would work together well , and look the part ....See Morewhat colours to paint my 1880's home
Comments (2)Hi, Courtney, thanks for that, I haven't painted yet, we have nearly finished putting in a bathroom. This coming summer we are painting, so at present my choice of colours are a dark grey roof, a warm green (not blue undertone) for main house, a buttermilk trim and a rusty red door? What do you think....See MoreUser
