Bathrooms
Subway tile with grey grout against natural wood looking floors.
Herringbone pattern on the tile. Color is nice but white may be better.
Large mirror over the vanity. The vanity floats over the floor. Can we do it ?
Large mirror over the vanity. Lighting is recessed. Floating vanity makes the area look bigger. Depends on where the plumbing is located.
IKEA like cubes to store things on the wall instead of a cabinet.
Mirror medicine cabinet above the vanity.
Here 2 smaller mirrors are installed by the 2 sinks. There are sconce lights on each side of the mirror.
Here is a combination of pot lights and pendant lighting in front of the vanity mirror.
Here are fancy pendants hanging by the mirror. Think about lighting as well. You will probably replace the box light by the mirror.
This bath has subway tile but the grout is grey. Floors are very dark. Would dark floors make our bath look small? Very dark floors show a lot of dust?
The shower niche is located on an outside wall underneath the window. Did not know that you could install a niche on an exterior wall?
Fancy by pass shower doors
Our lay out with the window in the shower and toilet next to the shower. Porcelain wood style tiles. Floors are dark, walls are light.
Here is white subway tile on the shower walls.
Here is a frosted shower door with no by pass doors. Good idea or not? Would there be a lot of water splashed outside the door area
The counter looks like white quartz. White quartz + natural wood cabinets.
I still like the large single mirror over the vanity.
Here is a double vanity with a wall separating it from the toilet and shower area like what we have.
Low curb on the shower stall. Notice that there are no cabinets over the toilet. Like the under mount sink. Not sure about grey for a cabinet color - could be dated in a few years.
An idea for the bath floor?
Layout is like our bathroom without the wall in between the toilet and the vanity. Would we miss some of the privacy or would we prefer the open feel without the wall?
This shower has a curb but it is not as high as ours. Could that be done?
There is no wall between the toilet and vanity. This layout is like our master bath. Do not like the raised sink - I prefer the under mount.
I like the white subway tile for the shower stall. The undermount sinks are nice too.
I like the mosaic tile if we have to install it vertically. The simplicity is nice.
Nice wide niche. Glass backed because wall tile is glass
Is that a real wood floor? Not practical near a tub.
Short legs on the vanity. Give a mcm feel.
Tab hardware on vanity drawers. Black used as an accent with the frames on the mirror, window, picture and stool.
With all this white, the floor needs to be dark to ground the space. Not sure if black is the nuclear option.
Very long vanity but no double sinks, only one. Is that a negative item in a master bath?
If we take out our wall, could connect the cabinet over the toilet like this.
Modern bypass shower door with mod looking handle. Would we need this for our shower. Shower has curb like ours - looks like it is faced with tile.
30x30 floor tile. That’s large. Looks like the kids bath.
Like the white tile and the tile on the floor that is the same throughout.
I like the 3D white tile
Corner shelf is nice. No niches in this stall?
The frameless shower door. White tile with cocoa colored vanity. Thick white quartz countertop with integral or under mount sink. Recessed light in the shower.
Half glass shower door. No wall in between toilet, sink and shower. Shower niche is on same side as the shower head. Counter thickness looks extra thick. Floating vanity, no hardware. Wood look on the floor - wood look tile?
Chairs from ikea?
A lot of grey . Looks a bit muddled
