The cabinets may be a little darker than the ones you chose, but I think that the room certainly has the Tanglewood feel, (especially with a similar classic chandeliers) without the painted cabinets. There's your coffee bar window!

It wouldn't work in the vaulted-ceiling LR, but if you used your pieces in the Family Room, they could be modified to really look like built-ins.

This is the Tanglewood living room. The French doors almost look like a wall unit, but the blank other side looks odd to me. It doesn't look like there's room for any furniture, though, because of the arched opening.
