New House Aesthetic
You could plug this in exactly and I'd be a happy camper :) maybe something soft but stony like this around the fireplace, pulling in same color as couch/rug... really love hte colors here, its modern but warm and romantic... lots of warmth, pulls in the wood, color in the picture matches color pops on couch and in the photo... but, the orange is still a shade of the same on the wall. this is good.
Cool art
Not for my house, for sure.... is this a fire laundromat???
Quiet Stone next to firewood
This one I really like. Still a lot of white... This fireplace checks a lot of boxes. Dark textured stone, fireplace, firewood store, and aesthetic interest with the asymmetric shelf, plus little jewel tones in the goodies on the shelf!
This is clean, and would be pretty, I just feel like this aesthetic is so overdone in modern houses. Find a way to spice this up with another aesthetic incorporation and I'll like it. Even hanging a collage of round firewood-slices above it would create/invite the full fireplace feeling.
I like the wood panels on the ceiling - perhaps we could do this in the kitchen, and stretch the width of the wood ceiling feature to be only as wide as the fireplace concept, utilizing the stone backdrop and the round firewood ends as accents around the stupid fake electric flashing spaceheater that wants to be areal fireplace but never will be.
Stone contrast around the edge, wood frame, and saturated jewel tone on the wall help to make this aesthetic warm.
what I like here: focusing on fireplace, utilized as part of an art installation/architectural focal. the vertical line here creates warm light, dark colors on the walls, saturated jewel tones surrounding. What I don't like: fireplace here is done well, but, in isolation could look too masculine and overpowering. It needs softening from the rest of the room.
what I like: bold color usage, modern fireplace used on a wall that creates utilizes the fireplace as part of an art installation. modern lines in the stairwell. What I don't like: too much off-white
What I like: cozy, warm orange/yellow glow, modern, smart looking fireplace. What I don't like: not enough color/texture, a little too clean in the lines. Needs some whimsey and/or light-hearted touch
modern, dark colors, pattern, color, texture, saturation, plush textures, modern nods
What I like: mix of stone and wood elements, pin lighting. What I don't like: feels too spacious, like a high-end hotel spa. Needs to be cozier.
What I like: dark colors, jewel tones, monochromatic textured fabric, nods to nature.
Oh GIVE. Warm, cozy lighting tones, nature focal, dark colors, warm wood.
I love all of this. Dark color, jewel tones, warmth, modern nods, saturated textured fabric in the chairs, a little bit of whimsey in the variety of the color, and the wall art is bright and inventive and unique. This is great.
dramatic color, texture, pattern
DARK WALL COLOR!! Plus interest and elegance in the floor.
Monochromatic texture in a heavy kind of texture in the chairs.
COLOR. Saturated color
ways to add more black and wood to a kitchen
