nice look for the porch dining room
I've been wondering if drapes would be something we consider for this house?
similar layout to the new house. i will be mixing styles but the look should end up being something like this I hope.
I like these blues or other soft colors and tones.
liking the wallpaper behind the shelves and the display styling.
should we be thinking of store bought shelving in the den/library - so unsure of how to fit out this house :(
What do you think of a moody color or dark tone like this for Jim's office - doesn't have to be gray but if he's game, it could be a darker tone than what we have today.
another potential arrangement if we re-worked the bench seating and moved the light fixture. Windows on both sides in the corner might leave some room for a piece of furniture at the other end? not elegant I know . . .
basically what we will have - while functional, it's not making me swoon . . .
Here you can see the stools. Wonder if they are comfortable and not too modern. I kinda of like the idea of wood especially if we put butcher block in the pantry when we re-work it.
very nice color for island and possibly painting the builtins next to the TV. I don't think I can change the stone though (at least not in the first pass) and even if color had to be tweaked to go with my things, the tone is warm and lovely.
While this works, the combination of kitchen dining room just isn't working for me :(
I really feel like interesting ideas (like the wallpaper here in combination with the style of table and chairs) has come together to make a lovely dining area - without much else in the room aside from a statement chandelier.
this room has nothing in it except a table, chairs and narrow table (plus a rug and light fixture). I realize the windows in the new house are not so big but I can envision a room like this off the foyer if we used it as a dining room. Only mine would have an art wall at the far end.
Pretty light colored table if we went this direction with see through pendants. I don't think it would be difficult to find chairs that work with something like this and I know we could find beautiful lighting.
Nice table - a lot like ours and possibly a bit too rustic though - depending on how we treat the rest of this space
I actually like this look and style. It could easily go with the sofa that will be across the room. I like the low backed chairs and the idea of several pendants or long light fixture over the table even in the kitchen area.
Intersting chairs in this adorable little space
A very similar space with square table but they kept the bench seating. I don't think Jim is a fam of the banquet though.
master bath that can be coordinated with the bedroom? I'm not forgetting the pattern in the shower however, what to do about that?
