Eating / sitting area contiguous with the kitchen island. Drawers both sides of the island, so no sitting in a row.

liked this dining area off the end of the island, although I wonder whether it would be better done at the same height as the island and using stool-height chairs for seating. But the general idea of being able to sit opposite each other and talk while you eat or prepare is nice.

Again, tiber, white, black, and uncluttered look. Don't like the sit-in-a-line seating, but do like the timber shelving that contrasts with the white and stone.

I like the lower height cupboards and also like the light

I still like shiplap and timber contrasts, and I like that low window seat and (I assume) storage underneath

I like again the contrasting materials and colours and the way the timber on the island appears to lift the stone away from the cabinets

Like the table end. I think ‘sit in a row cheek-to-Jowl’ arrangement is common and not very functional or social. It also takes away the opportunity to have drawers or cupboards or open shelves on the outward-facing side of the island

Like those lights too

The island is too much, but the timber and black on the cabinets looks good

Unfortunately we don’t have the view out the window, but liked the contrast of materials again

Not so much the design, but I like the fluted surface of the timber, and the timber handle.

Like the timber, black and stone, and liked the table end for seating

Timber, white and black, with different materials on different cupboard surfaces. Didn’t mind the subway tiles.
