Ben's ideas
I like the idea of this image for my waiting room. obviously scale this room size down a bit. A small area for the traditional small sofa, individual chairs around a coffee table of sorts with an area along the back wall for high chairs for patients that may be catching up on work, or kids working on homework. i like the horizontal stone wall as an accent maybe behind the receptionist or possible an accent piece on the wall of the waiting room with the practice name on it.
i like the modern gray backsplash with warm brown cabinets, the rooms seems modern and industrial with the light fixture. I know its a dental office and not an awesome culinary school but what I envision for my office is a gathering space that promotes a healthy meeting space for staff members to take a breather from potential stresses in the work environment. I feel if you enter the breakroom and feel refreshed versus having a break room that makes you feel like you're in a dungeon says something about the doctors appreciation of their staff members.
like the deep gray as an a possible accent wall in operatory rooms with white accent, looks clean and professional. could be the theme throughout the office with light wood floors, I'm open to the light grey wall white accent and deep warm wood floors or deep blue walls white accent and light wood floor
I like the wood table and contemporary chairs, clean break room table, for the team to gather and bond, if the walls are deep blue then maybe the counter tops would be of that grey marble and white vanity cabinet, I don't care for that light fixture too much, hopefully we can find a real estate that has some windows for the office and break room.
this picture calls to me, makes me feel like I'm part of google think tank, coming up with something genius, with all jokes aside, I like the windows to be refreshed from a hard treatment or difficult pt. it feels open and inviting. I want my office to feel inviting and fun communications throughout the staff. As a patient I've always enjoyed being in the chair and enjoying the barbarshop gossip my dentist and his assistant would engage into. Not necessarily gossipp
possible break room idea. not as big but ergonomic chairs, comfortable for breaks, possible tv on a wall. I imagine dong lunch and learns and morning huddles in breakrooms to make sure the team is always on the same page, the tv on the wall would also serve as a way to present to new team members in training.
I can see this color scheme in the waiting room with the warmth of wood floor, modern clean colors of grey walls with white accents, I like the crown moulding. I like the built in shelves for an office or break room accent ( maybe for staff team photos. dental models for education on the shelves in office of a consult room), I don't care for the style of sofa in waiting room or consult room. hard to clean, or appear clean)
Subtle back wall. Contrasting floor pebble. Shower bench and shampoo insert
