Houzz Launches Houzz Pro Business Software for Designers

Houzz Pro brings design pros business management software and marketing features in a single solution

Houzz is proud to announce the launch of Houzz Pro, a suite of software tools that design and renovation pros can use to manage their residential design and construction businesses. Houzz Pro for Australia (and Houzz Pro for NZ) is the only business software on the market that designers and other renovator pros can use to manage the full project life cycle, including attracting and converting new clients, communicating with clients and handling billing all in one place. The new tools bring together the Ivy by Houzz business management software with Houzz’s marketing features. The tools are just one aspect of the Houzz Pro Resilience Initiative, designed to help pros strengthen their businesses; stay connected to one another, their clients and their teams; and tap into the power of the Houzz community.

Houzz Launches Houzz Pro Business Software for Designers

The new tools within Houzz Pro enable designers, architects and other renovating professionals to manage their entire project and client life cycle from anywhere, at any time and for one low price. Design pros who subscribe to Houzz Pro can also benefit from new marketing and advertising features, such as enhanced analytics, and new profile features, such as a company highlight video and featured reviews.

1. Manage new business inquiries

With Houzz Pro, design pros can manage their client pipeline from any source, including Houzz, allowing them to stay top of mind with potential clients and win more projects. Within Houzz Pro, designers, architects and other professionals can communicate with their leads, add internal notes about projects and attach relevant files and photos. Designers and other pros can use the tool to chat in real time or to email potential clients.

A scheduling tool within Houzz Pro integrates with the pro’s calendar, making it easy to book meetings with clients and potential clients.

2. Collaborate with clients

The messaging tool within Houzz Pro tracks the communication history, including chat, email, photos and documents.

3. Send proposals, tear sheets, invoices and purchase orders

Design professionals can easily create and send custom proposals in Houzz Pro and track client approvals at the proposal or individual product level. They can also send tear sheets, invoices and purchase orders directly through Houzz Pro. Clients can approve products online with just a click.

With the Product Clipper tool, designers can save all the specs and imagery for each product into a personal library, eliminating the need for labour-intensive downloading and pasting. Enhanced search functionality makes it easier for design pros to find products and services – including documents and room boards – within a project.

Designers can also track their time and expense entries from one central dashboard within Houzz Pro, making it easy to stay on top of billable products and services for each project.

4. Accept online payments

5. Attract clients with new marketing tools

In addition to business management software, Houzz Pro subscribers can use new marketing and advertising features, including website building and hosting services, to stand out, build their brands on Houzz and attract new clients.

The highlight video allows pros to show their businesses through an engaging multimedia experience, including photos, reviews and key business information.
The featured review showcases a handpicked review prominently on the pro’s profile and Houzz directory listing.
Enhanced analytics through Houzz Pro gives subscribing pros insights into how their profiles are resonating most with the Houzz community.

Website building and hosting. Subscribers to Houzz Pro can have the Houzz team build, host and manage a professional website as part of any paid subscription package.

All client communications are automatically branded with the pro’s logo and company name, for a professional company image that builds credibility with clients.

Houzz Pro has additional features for renovators, including the ability to build custom estimates with real-time data, issue change orders and share project timelines with clients.

Houzz Pro is available for Australia and New Zealand at pro.houzz.com.au and pro.houzz.co.nz, respectively, with new subscriptions starting as low as $89 per month.
