Arts and Crafts Blue Bathroom Design Ideas
Jennifer Gardner DesignA classic Seattle craftsman home is reimagined and restored. We cherished the opportunity to help a young couple in Seattle develop a materials, fixtures and lighting package for their beloved home remodel. The master bathroom is layered with a mix of white and black marble hex mosaic floor tile, classic white offset brick pattern subway wall tile, and beautifully crafted wood wainscoting. Kohler's Artifacts plumbing trim collection brings fresh vintage style to the vanity and shower. An easy to care for quartz counter and backsplash adds a bright contrast to the a gorgeous providence blue custom vanity. The powder room which doubles as a guest bathroom is dressed in Pratt and Larson's ceramic mosaic floor tile and paired with a space saving pedestal sink by American Standard. Wall niches lined with white quartz are incorporated into both showers creating a dedicated place to store bathing amenities. The checkboard cork floor in the kitchen adds a FUN pop of personality. Custom mudroom cubbies and a built in eating nook were beautifully crafted and finished in a crisp white paint. Light fixtures by Rejuvenation bathe the room in beautiful period appropriate light. Clever storage hides small appliances and a stand mixer. This project was a labor of love for he homeowners who took an active part in the process and a joy for our team to be involved in!

Molly's Marketplace, a home renovation's paradiseThis 2 bed 1 bath home was remodeled from top to bottom! We updated the floors, painted the whole interior a rich warm gray color and installed rustic wood tile flooring throughout. We worked on the kitchen layout quiet a lot because of it's small size, we opted for a large island but left enough room for a small dining table in the kitchen. We installed 36" upper cabinets with 3" crown molding to give the kitchen some height. We also wanted to bring in some of the Farmhouse style, so we installed subway backsplash with black grout. The only bathroom in the house is very small, but we made the most of the space by installing some cool tile all of the way to the ceiling. We then gave the space as much storage as we could with a custom vanity with beautiful granite and a large mirrored medicine cabinet. On the outside, we wanted the home to have some charm so we opted for a nice dark blue exterior color with white trim.
Sweeney Design RemodelSweeney Design Remodel updated all the finishes, including the flooring and wallpaper. We replaced a pedestal sink and wall-hung cabinet with a beautiful Mexican-painted sink the clients had collected and set it on a wooden vanity. Glacier-white granite was featured on the powder bath vanity. The floor was replaced with a terracotta-colored hexagon tile that complemented the ornate sink, and indigo wallpaper with a subtle botanical print tied the room together. A stunning crystal chandelier offered another focal point for the space. For storage, we added matching corner cabinets with granite countertops.
Saikley ArchitectsIn this remodel of a very small kitchen, we designed it to claim every bit of space. The kitchen was opened up to the dining room and windows were added toward the back yard for a sense of a larger space.

Legacy Architects, LLCThe handcrafted vanity with cast-in-place concrete counter top gives this Master Bath that genuine touch of authenticity not found on the shelf of the big box stores. The glass shower surround allows for more openness and light from the windows to flood the bathroom.
Mosby Building ArtsAfter living with a builder-grade version for several years, it was time to have exactly the master bathroom they longed for. Other than the two existing closets, the bathroom was gutted to begin anew.
Our client loves the Arts & Crafts style, so the bathroom echoes the aesthetic, from the sliding barn door to the His & Hers vanities and floor-to-ceiling cabinet (with room for a smartTV!). Pendent and chandelier lighting replicates Tiffany’s mission style lighting from the 1920s. And flooring and wall tiles are in the deep, rich earth tones favored by the Arts & Crafts movement.
The centerpiece of this handsome bathroom is the freestanding copper tub. Though the walk-in shower with a gorgeous, glass tile niche is mighty impressive, as well. And the clients love all the customized storage in their personal vanity.
