The homeowner was used to functioning with a stacked washer and dryer. As part of the primary suite addition and kitchen remodel, we relocated the laundry utilities. The new side-by-side configuration was optimal to create a large folding space for the homeowner. Now, function and beauty are found in the new laundry room. A neutral black countertop was designed over the washer and dryer, providing a durable folding space. A full-height linen cabinet is utilized for broom/vacuum storage. The hand-painted decorative tile backsplash provides a beautiful focal point while also providing waterproofing for the drip-dry hanging rod. Bright brushed brass hardware pop against the blues used in the space.

Our studio gave this home a fresh, inviting remodel. In the kitchen, we combined modern appliances and clean lines with a rustic touch using bright wood, burnished bronze fittings, and geometric tiles. A unique extension on one end of the kitchen island adds extra space for cooking and dining. The living room fireplace got a stunning art deco makeover with deep wood trim, Rookwood-style tilework, and vintage decor. Comfortable primary bedroom with large walk-in closet, ensuite with double sinks and separate water closet with a 5’ fiberglass stand-up shower

The master bathroom has a large dual vanity with plenty of storage and counter space for two. And the separate drop-in tub surround extends a bit farther than usual to provide a handy built-in shower bench for the oversized glassed-in shower with three showerheads.

The goal was to build a carriage house with space for guests, additional vehicles and outdoor furniture storage. The exterior design would match the main house. Special features of the outbuilding include a custom pent roof over the main overhead door, fir beams and bracketry, copper standing seam metal roof, and low voltage LED feature lighting. A thin stone veneer was installed on the exterior to match the main house.

Removed the aluminum siding, installed batt insulation, plywood sheathing, moisture barrier, flashing, new Allura fiber cement siding, Atrium vinyl replacement windows, and Provia Signet Series Fiberglass front door with Emtek Mortise Handleset, and Provia Legacy Series Steel back door with Emtek Mortise Handleset! Installed new seamless aluminum gutters & downspouts. Painted exterior with Sherwin-Williams paint!
