This boy’s room is fun and reflects his personality of sports. We used a custom sports mural for the accent wall behind the low profile bed. We used gray, red, orange, and black in the room with bedding, walls colors, wall décor and accessories. Furniture was kept to a minimum.

The Brief: Dark, minimal and stylish space to work, game and relax!
The Solution: Dark cosy walls. Lots of texture through textiles. Quirky finds without a 'theme'. Feature neon artwork light and a double gaming station.

By situating this elaborate train setup along the walls of this room with sloped ceilings, left the middle open for Angelo and his dad to access any area of the train set easily. The painted scenery on the walls echoes the theme of each vignette; in the far corner is a farm scene. Three-and-a-half year old Angelo came up with the word "traintastic" when he saw his new hobby room.

This boy's bedroom reflects his love of astronomy with a custom wallpaper accent wall of the Milky Way. A cozy striped rug keeps it fun and is perfect for playing with toys on. Bedside tables in navy coordinate nicely with the starry night, and the white wood blinds lighten the look.

This teen bedroom has plenty of space to sleep, study or chill. The room reflects the resident's love for baseball and incorporates industrial accents and furniture to give it a more grown-up feel. The room offers lighting options overhead with a baseball light fixture, reading lamps on the desk, a lamp above the couch or a little ambiance lighting from the wall-mounted arrow.

Built on Frank Sinatra’s estate, this custom home was designed to be a fun and relaxing weekend retreat for our clients who live full time in Orange County. As a second home and playing up the mid-century vibe ubiquitous in the desert, we departed from our clients’ more traditional style to create a modern and unique space with the feel of a boutique hotel. Classic mid-century materials were used for the architectural elements and hard surfaces of the home such as walnut flooring and cabinetry, terrazzo stone and straight set brick walls, while the furnishings are a more eclectic take on modern style. We paid homage to “Old Blue Eyes” by hanging a 6’ tall image of his mug shot in the entry.
