This full home mid-century remodel project is in an affluent community perched on the hills known for its spectacular views of Los Angeles. Our retired clients were returning to sunny Los Angeles from South Carolina. Amidst the pandemic, they embarked on a two-year-long remodel with us - a heartfelt journey to transform their residence into a personalized sanctuary.
Opting for a crisp white interior, we provided the perfect canvas to showcase the couple's legacy art pieces throughout the home. Carefully curating furnishings that complemented rather than competed with their remarkable collection. It's minimalistic and inviting. We created a space where every element resonated with their story, infusing warmth and character into their newly revitalized soulful home.

A neutral colour palette was the main aspect of the brief setting the tone for a sophisticated and elegant home.
The main tile we chose is called "Paris White". It is a light colour tile with darker flecks and gently undulating vein patterning reminiscent of sandy shorelines. It has a smooth matt surface that feels lovely to the touch and is very easy to clean. We used this tile on both the walls and the floor of this Family bathroom. We combined the tile with feature mosaics and pebbles to add interest and texture. The mosaic has glass pieces which catch the light and reflect it.
The pebbles have an impeccably smooth feel and while neutral in tone the variance in stone colours create a dynamic interplay.
The brushed gold tapware possesses a gentle hue, and its brushed finish exudes a timeless, classic appeal.

Libby's first solo project that she worked hand in hand with Tschida Construction on. Water damage and (horrible) layout led to a complete redesign. They saved the budget by leaving the bathtub and made sure it now only made sense in the layout, but in the aesthetics too.
Chi Renovation & Design
This Chicago bathroom was designed to bring light to this dark basement space. This is a premium look on a very reasonable budget- exactly what this client was looking for.
Project designed by Skokie renovation firm, Chi Renovation & Design - general contractors, kitchen and bath remodelers, and design & build company. They serve the Chicago area and its surrounding suburbs, with an emphasis on the North Side and North Shore. You'll find their work from the Loop through Lincoln Park, Skokie, Evanston, Wilmette, and all the way up to Lake Forest.

Tile plays a dramatic role in this newly remodeled Keller, TX bathroom remodel. Decorative arabesque white Carrera marble tile is incorporated above the tub, across the vanity and on the shower walls.

The renovated bath offers a warm, midcentury modern aesthetic, with spa-like amenities. To compensate for the bathroom’s lack of natural light, a central portion of the ceiling was lowered with cove lighting added to create the impression of sunlight filtering down. The technique serves to visually heighten the room and make the ceiling look taller. An open-concept zero-threshold shower visually enlarges the room and physically enlarges the area dedicated to the shower.

This master bathroom was long overdue for a makeover. The family of 4 (plus 2 dogs) needed something practical and not going to break the bank in case they sold their home in a couple of years. The changes we made only added value to this once dark space. Because both parents work, they are very busy in their day to day life and wanted a bathroom that would accommodate their lifestyle. The gray granite is both practical and beautiful. The porcelain tile both on the floor and shower walls is easily maintainable and a soothing light cream and gray. The tint of green on the walls, LED backlit frameless mirror, and framed ocean print give this bathroom the luxurious spa feel our clients yearned to escape to from their busy lives.
