When a client buys an old home next to a resort spa you have to add some current functionality and style to make it the desired modern beach cottage. For the renovation, we worked with the team including the builder, architect and of course the home owners to brightening the home with new windows, moving walls all the while keeping the over all scope and budget from not getting out of control. The master bathroom is clean and modern but we also keep the budget in mind and used luxury vinyl flooring with a custom tile detail where it meets with the shower. We decided to keep the front door and work into the new materials by adding rustic reclaimed wood that we hand selected. The project required creativity throughout to maximize the design style but still respect the overall budget since it was a large scape project.

Master bath retreat. These clients wanted to add linen and towel storage and a separate makeup area. The old built in garden tub ( seldom used ) was removed and a new cabinetry layout was designed in its place. Echelon Cabinetry in the Addison door with linen finish were used for the new cabinet design with his and her vanities. Tons of drawers and ample countertop space abound. The new granite countertops in Fantasy Brown look amazing with the Luxury vinyl floating flooring. Luxury vinyl flooring can be a great choice for a bathroom; its waterproof, durable, and warmer under foot than traditional tile and the new patterns and textured finishes can complement any look. The shower was cleanly retiled with a beautiful accent border that tied in perfectly with the new granite.

Our Cient was ready for a restroom remodel, (along with the rest of the house) so we started our renovation by selecting Calming and Cool colors of the ocean.....We also gave the homeowner a larger tub, for soaking and relaxing. The grey vanity was the perfect complement to the teal and white tile, and this little restroom remodel is a calming spa like oasis.

In this whole house remodel all the bathrooms were refreshed. The guest and kids bath both received a new tub, tile surround and shower doors. The vanities were upgraded for more storage. Taj Mahal Quartzite was used for the counter tops. The guest bath has an interesting shaded tile with a Moroccan lamp inspired accent tile. This created a sophisticated guest bathroom. The kids bath has clean white x-large subway tiles with a fun penny tile stripe.

The vanity was designed with outlets so that tools can be plugged in and ready to use without resting on the countertop. When an old neighbor referred us to a new construction home built in my old stomping grounds I was excited. First, close to home. Second it was the EXACT same floor plan as the last house I built. We had a local contractor, Curt Schmitz sign on to do the construction and went to work on layout and addressing their wants, needs, and wishes for the space. Since they had a fireplace upstairs they did not want one int he basement. This gave us the opportunity for a whole wall of built-ins with Smart Source for major storage and display. We also did a bar area that turned out perfectly. The space also had a space room we dedicated to work out space with a barn door. We did luxury vinyl plank throughout, even in the bathroom, which we have been doing increasingly.

This spacious primary bathroom transformed from drab and dark to a refreshed, bright bathroom. Simply removing the dropped ceiling and fluorescent lights from the vanity area and replacing them with modern recessed can light brought this bathroom back to life. The carpet that once draped the floor was replaced by a gray wood-like vinyl plank which transitioned beautifully to the calcatta tiled shower. The dated vanity that once housed two sinks was updated to white custom-made cabinetry topped with a white with subtle veining Arabescato quartz countertop. A linen closet replaced the second vanity sink, providing ample storage space. Polished nickel finishes repeat about from the Hydrorail shower fixtures to the sink faucets. Two contemporary sconce lights a stylish mirror balance and adorns the focal wall. To create harmony within the bathroom and the rest of the house, we kept contrast to a minimum, using hints of color to create accents.
