Bathroom situated off the nursery, This bathroom features Legno Limestone tile on the floor and shower walls, White acrylic tub, all fixtures featured are Chrome. Quartz Vanity top and window sill. Kraftmaid Espresso vanity cabinet with matching end panel. 2 Stage crown molding. Light gray wall color.

Designing this spec home meant envisioning the future homeowners, without actually meeting them. The family we created that lives here while we were designing prefers clean simple spaces that exude character reminiscent of the historic neighborhood. By using substantial moldings and built-ins throughout the home feels like it’s been here for one hundred years. Yet with the fresh color palette rooted in nature it feels like home for a modern family.

This project is a Contemporary Bathroom Remodel in Palos Verdes Peninsula of southern California. Our homeowner was looking to update the bathroom as the first step in a series of projects they have planned. You can also view the before and after images of the project here: https://www.houzz.com/discussions/3942407. The new floating cabinetry is bamboo wood in a Café stain. The new countertop is a Cesar Stone Quartz. The shower now features glass doors which really helps to lighten the space while opening it up. The shower features a vein cut limestone.

The design of this remodel of a small two-level residence in Noe Valley reflects the owner's passion for Japanese architecture. Having decided to completely gut the interior partitions, we devised a better-arranged floor plan with traditional Japanese features, including a sunken floor pit for dining and a vocabulary of natural wood trim and casework. Vertical grain Douglas Fir takes the place of Hinoki wood traditionally used in Japan. Natural wood flooring, soft green granite and green glass backsplashes in the kitchen further develop the desired Zen aesthetic. A wall to wall window above the sunken bath/shower creates a connection to the outdoors. Privacy is provided through the use of switchable glass, which goes from opaque to clear with a flick of a switch. We used in-floor heating to eliminate the noise associated with forced-air systems.

Hallway bathroom completely remodeled with new skylight and laundry closet.

This cozy masterbath has luxury finishes in the most compact of space. The shower -tub area has it all-a whirlpool, with Chromotherapy and an essential oil diffuser. The glass doors on a pivot hinge-are European inspired with an open end from the wet wall. The shower/ tub area was covered in Limestone tile with built in niches for storage of towels, shampoo and candles. This was a reno that we did for clients that wanted to turn a floor of their home into a rental. The living area is small and it felt too cramped up and overwhelming for the owners. They love warm deep colors and a traditional, southwestern look with a lot of plants.
