Our clients wanted to add on to their 1950's ranch house, but weren't sure whether to go up or out. We convinced them to go out, adding a Primary Suite addition with bathroom, walk-in closet, and spacious Bedroom with vaulted ceiling. To connect the addition with the main house, we provided plenty of light and a built-in bookshelf with detailed pendant at the end of the hall. The clients' style was decidedly peaceful, so we created a wet-room with green glass tile, a door to a small private garden, and a large fir slider door from the bedroom to a spacious deck. We also used Yakisugi siding on the exterior, adding depth and warmth to the addition. Our clients love using the tub while looking out on their private paradise!

This spa-inspired bath was created using soft gray colored tiles on the walls and floor complemented with accents of blue and green in the custom crafted pendant lights by award-winning artisan Dereck Marshall from Center Sandwich. These colors are repeated in the glass tile mosaic above the vanity. Tile Showcase in the Boston Design Center provided the tiles which lend a calming ambiance to the bath. Cabinetry is by Cabico with Schaub & Company hardware. Mirrors and upper cabinets are designed to appear as seamless as possible. Homes designed by Franconia interior designer Randy Trainor. The bathroom features a "wet room" containing tub and shower and a floating vanity.

Hansen & Bringle custom cabinetry is painted Sherwin Williams "Belize" with a Silestone "Yukon" countertop. The vessel sink is by Decolav in the Lagoon color. A mother of pearl mirror hangs above the sink and the tile is sourced locally from Island City Tile.

A teen’s bathroom that the family won’t grow out of. A custom vanity and matching mirror made in collaboration with a local craftsperson are complimented with a glass mosaic tile, inspired by kelp forests. Delicate ceramic lights reminiscent of folded paper illuminate the mirror. A small soaking tub by the window for relaxing and reflecting, while enjoying the views of nature. The window casings and baseboards were designed with Bardiglio Marble, also used on the shower and vanity.

Water-like 12x24 floor tile. Coy inspired guest bathroom, complete with waves and ripples found on the mirror frame, the backsplash tile and even on the glass wall sconces.

This hidden gem of a powder bath is tucked away behind a curved wall in the kitchen. Custom glass tile was selected to accentuate the glazed interior of the vessel sink. The colors of the tile were meant to coordinate with the bamboo trees just outside and bring a little of the outdoors inside. The window was frosted with a solar film for added privacy.

This basement guest bath features 9cm Pental quartz counters with Decolav vessel sink and Moen 90 Degree Open-Trough fixtures. The walnut linen cabinet provides a break by the toilet to visually separate this space (a great trick when there's not enough room for a separate toilet area).
