This new build architectural gem required a sensitive approach to balance the strong modernist language with the personal, emotive feel desired by the clients. Taking inspiration from the California MCM aesthetic, we added bold colour blocking, interesting textiles and patterns, and eclectic lighting to soften the glazing, crisp detailing and linear forms. With a focus on juxtaposition and contrast, we played with the ‘mix’; utilising a blend of new & vintage pieces, differing shapes & textures, and touches of whimsy for a lived in feel.

The D shaped bath was a superb choice in this bathroom. This bath with its thin outer is classy and sophisticated. D shaped baths have two curved edges. This shaped bath creates space with its shape and style. The wall mounted taps by JTP are the perfect partner to fill this bath for a luxurious soak after a long day! Having the niche above the bath is a lovely feature, allowing space for accessories and added light.

Faire l’acquisition de surfaces sous les toits nécessite parfois une faculté de projection importante, ce qui fut le cas pour nos clients du projet Timbaud. Initialement configuré en deux « chambres de bonnes », la réunion de ces deux dernières et l’ouverture des volumes a permis de transformer l’ensemble en un appartement deux pièces très fonctionnel et lumineux. Avec presque 41m2 au sol (29m2 carrez), les rangements ont été maximisés dans tous les espaces avec notamment un grand dressing dans la chambre, la cuisine ouverte sur le salon séjour, et la salle d’eau séparée des sanitaires, le tout baigné de lumière naturelle avec une vue dégagée sur les toits de Paris. Tout en prenant en considération les problématiques liées au diagnostic énergétique initialement très faible, cette rénovation allie esthétisme, optimisation et performances actuelles dans un soucis du détail pour cet appartement destiné à la location.

The Palette for the Guest Bathroom is Dark Teals & Greens with pops of Blood Red to accessorise, incorporating Bold Vintage Poster Prints. In the small space we still managed to fit in a 'wet room' style shower and freestanding bath.

Master bathroom in this Georgian Oxfordshire family house. The design mixes a modern aesthetic with a classic touch thanks to the ceramic marble-effect tiles, chalky green walls and carefully curated art.

This calming blue walk-in shower features this pony wall to match the enormous shower space. The pebble tile flooring and large bright window have these homeowners feeling one with nature with the multiple shower heads and rainfall shower in brushed nickel finishes.

Our Austin studio decided to go bold with this project by ensuring that each space had a unique identity in the Mid-Century Modern style bathroom, butler's pantry, and mudroom. We covered the bathroom walls and flooring with stylish beige and yellow tile that was cleverly installed to look like two different patterns. The mint cabinet and pink vanity reflect the mid-century color palette. The stylish knobs and fittings add an extra splash of fun to the bathroom. The butler's pantry is located right behind the kitchen and serves multiple functions like storage, a study area, and a bar. We went with a moody blue color for the cabinets and included a raw wood open shelf to give depth and warmth to the space. We went with some gorgeous artistic tiles that create a bold, intriguing look in the space. In the mudroom, we used siding materials to create a shiplap effect to create warmth and texture – a homage to the classic Mid-Century Modern design. We used the same blue from the butler's pantry to create a cohesive effect. Compact shower room with terrazzo tiles, builting storage, cement basin, black brassware mirrored cabinets

The Tranquility Residence is a mid-century modern home perched amongst the trees in the hills of Suffern, New York. After the homeowners purchased the home in the Spring of 2021, they engaged TEROTTI to reimagine the primary and tertiary bathrooms. The peaceful and subtle material textures of the primary bathroom are rich with depth and balance, providing a calming and tranquil space for daily routines. The terra cotta floor tile in the tertiary bathroom is a nod to the history of the home while the shower walls provide a refined yet playful texture to the room.

For the steam shower, we carried the matte grey porcelain tiles from the floor onto the walls for a really continuous, cohesive feel. A simple, black mosaic tile creates a bold contrast in the space while maintaining a sleek and modern aesthetic. We completed the design with custom glass doors and polished chrome plumbing fixtures.
