Normandy Designer Vince Weber was able to maximize the potential of the space by creating a corner walk in shower and angled tub with tub deck in this master suite. He was able to create the spa like aesthetic these homeowners had hoped for and a calming retreat, while keeping with the style of the home as well.

We removed a hall closet to expand the bathroom area, enabling us to create two rectangular bathrooms instead of two intertwined bathrooms. In the primary bathroom, we added a full-sized shower with a bench, as well as plenty of cabinet storage.

These homeowners wanted to update their 1990’s bathroom with a statement tub to retreat and relax. The primary bathroom was outdated and needed a facelift. The homeowner’s wanted to elevate all the finishes and fixtures to create a luxurious feeling space. From the expanded vanity with wall sconces on each side of the gracefully curved mirrors to the plumbing fixtures that are minimalistic in style with their fluid lines, this bathroom is one you want to spend time in. Adding a sculptural free-standing tub with soft curves and elegant proportions further elevated the design of the bathroom. Heated floors make the space feel elevated, warm, and cozy. White Carrara tile is used throughout the bathroom in different tile size and organic shapes to add interest. A tray ceiling with crown moulding and a stunning chandelier with crystal beads illuminates the room and adds sparkle to the space. Natural materials, colors and textures make this a Master Bathroom that you would want to spend time in.

Primary and Guest en-suite remodel

Masterbath remodel. Utilizing the existing space this master bathroom now looks and feels larger than ever. The homeowner was amazed by the wasted space in the existing bath design.

Both the master bath and the guest bath were in dire need of a remodel. The guest bath was a much simpler project, basically replacing what was there in the same location with upgraded cabinets, tile, fittings fixtures and lighting. The most dramatic feature is the patterned floor tile and the navy blue painted ship lap wall behind the vanity. The master was another project. First, we enlarged the bathroom and an adjacent closet by straightening out the walls across the entire length of the bedroom. This gave us the space to create a lovely bathroom complete with a double bowl sink, medicine cabinet, wash let toilet and a beautiful shower.

The powder room has a transitional-coastal feel with blues, whites and warm wood tones. The vanity is from Mouser Cabinetry in the Winchester door style with a charcoal stain. The toilet is the one-piece Kathryn model from Kohler. The plumbing fixtures are from the Kohler Artifacts collection in brushed bronze. A large portion of the cost associated with the material costs of this project, the large semi-frosted glass door brings balance to the space, creating a level of intimacy and privacy to the interior of the walk-in shower, while keeping the overall space inviting and open. Certainly worth the cost.

A custom smoky gray painted cabinet was topped with grey blue Zodiaq counter. Blue glass tile was used throughout the bathtub and shower. Diamond-shaped glass tiles line the backsplash and add shimmer along with the polished chrome fixture. Two 36” vertical sconces installed on the backsplash to ceiling mirror add light and height.

The layout in the second-floor bathroom was changed to better accommodate the toilet, tub, and shower. A new vanity was added for more storage and kid delineated space. The crown trim along the vanity wall was part of the existing built in.
