Master bath remodeled for serenity In Palo Alto, a goal of grey water landscaping triggered a bathroom remodel. And with that, a vision of a serene bathing experience, with views out to the landscaping created a modern white bathroom, with a Japanese soaking tub and curbless shower. Warm wood accents the room with moisture resistant Accoya wood tub deck and shower bench. Custom made vanities are topped with glass countertop and integral sink.

This shower/tub combo with a glass panel. Shower tiles are a combination of ceramic tiles and mosaics. Custom wood vanity with Duravit sink and brushed nickel single-handle faucet.

This family bath also serves as a guest bath and was renovated at the same as the kitchen and dining room addition. All of the surfaces are eco-friendly, hypo-allergenic, safe and clean. This transitional bathroom incorporates soft wood tones with various shades of green used throughout the room providing a nice transitional feel. The sea foam green walls tastefully complement the darker green tiles used on the bathroom floor and in the inset shower shelf.

The bathroom accommodates 2 sinks with storage , a WC area and generous shower with built-in bench and shampoo niche. We fashioned a vertical niche between the 2 sinks providing additional storage on glass shelves. We reclaimed this space from a previous arched niche. Preview First

This image is a close up view of the shower niche in the kids' bathroom in the Queen Anne remodel and second story addition project by H2D Architecture and Design (www.h2darchitects.com). The tile is a mutli colored monochromatic blue glass tile with gradation from dark to light. The tile is designed as a fun accent in the bathroom. A glass shelf was installed in the niche.
