This is a realistic rendering of Option 3. Clients Final Choice.
Current Master Bathroom is very outdated. Client wanted to create a spa feel keeping it mid century modern style as the rest of their home. The bathroom is small so a spacious feeling was important. There is a window they wanted to focus on. A walk in shower was a must that eventually would accomodate an easy walk in as they aged.
Pinnacle Design & Remodeling
Updating for aesthetics is one thing, but for function is a lot harder. You have to really think about who is using the space, how they are using it, and still make it look good. This bathroom is shared by two kids, and in the future an au pair. So there needed to be a lot of closed storage, which we had a custom built in to match the cost effective furniture vanity we sourced from Wayfair. Partnered with Landmark Remodeling and Pro Design Custom Cabinetry to make this a success.
ArtCraft Homes LLC
A classic 1925 Colonial Revival bungalow in the Jefferson Park neighborhood of Los Angeles restored and enlarged by Tim Braseth of ArtCraft Homes completed in 2013. Originally a 2 bed/1 bathroom house, it was enlarged with the addition of a master suite for a total of 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Original vintage details such as a Batchelder tile fireplace with flanking built-ins and original oak flooring are complemented by an all-new vintage-style kitchen with butcher block countertops, hex-tiled bathrooms with beadboard wainscoting and subway tile showers, and French doors leading to a redwood deck overlooking a fully-fenced and gated backyard. The new master retreat features a vaulted ceiling, oversized walk-in closet, and French doors to the backyard deck. Remodeled by ArtCraft Homes. Staged by ArtCraft Collection. Because this was the only bathroom in the house, the remodel was completed in nine days while the client vacationed. It now has the bright, clean, uncluttered aesthetic the client wanted. Set against all-white fixtures and walls are four vibrant shades of blue glass tiles in the tub/shower surround, and there is the personality we see in our client.

The charm of the fairy-tale-themed bedroom was carried into the adjoining bathroom with the ballet slipper motif wallpaper and glass slipper floor mats. Shades of hot pink glass tile and white glass pencil tiles framing the mirror add depth to this feminine bathroom.
