This hall 1/2 Bathroom was very outdated and needed an update. We started by tearing out a wall that separated the sink area from the toilet and shower area. We found by doing this would give the bathroom more breathing space. We installed patterned cement tile on the main floor and on the shower floor is a black hex mosaic tile, with white subway tiles wrapping the walls.

The airy bathroom features Emser's Craft White 3x12 subway tile on the walls and steam shower area, Casa Vita Bella's Marengo porcelain floor tiles (both from Spazio LA Tile Gallery), Kohler plumbing fixtures, a new freestanding tub and an accent shiplap wall behind the Restoration Hardware vanity.

A lighter, brighter space with amenities such as a dual vanity, walk-in shower, and heated floor and towel bar. One of the standout features of this project is the custom cabinets by Crystal Cabinets. The towers along the vanity offer practical drawer storage and electrical outlets, yet have the look and appeal of fine furniture. The finish in the fixtures is called "English Bronze" made by Rohl via Ferguson.

Complimenting the veining of the Calacatta Marble countertop, the bathrooms backsplash is ornamented by these accentual herringbone subway tiles. With black grout, the tiling's form projects off of the backsplash, giving the space the sensation of greater depth and dynamic of form.

Our clients had been in their home since the early 1980’s and decided it was time for some updates. We took on the kitchen, two bathrooms and a powder room. The primary objectives for the powder room were to update the materials and provide some storage in the small space. It was also important to the homeowners to have materials that would be easy to maintain over the long term. A Kohler tailored vanity and coordinating medicine cabinet provide ample storage for the small room. The dark wood vanity and textured wallpaper add contrast and texture to the home’s soft gray pallet. The integrated sink top and ceramic floor tile were budget-friendly and low maintenance. The homeowners were not too sure about the patterned floor tile but once installed it became one of their favorite elements of the project! This custom home is derived from Chinese symbolism. The color red symbolizes luck, happiness and joy in the Chinese culture. The number 8 is the most prosperous number in Chinese culture. A custom 8 branch tree is showcased on an island in the pool and a red wall serves as the background for this piece of art. The home was designed in a L-shape to take advantage of the lake view from all areas of the home. The open floor plan features indoor/outdoor living with a generous lanai, three balconies and sliding glass walls that transform the home into a single indoor/outdoor space.
