A serene colour palette with shades of Dulux Bruin Spice and Nood Co peach concrete adds warmth to a south-facing bathroom, complemented by dramatic white floor-to-ceiling shower curtains. Finishes of handmade clay herringbone tiles, raw rendered walls and marbled surfaces adds texture to the bathroom renovation.

A black framed panel gave a beautiful, simple definition to this walk-in shower and complemented the brushed gunmetal shower head and rail.

Natural planked oak, paired with chalky white and concrete sheeting highlights our Jackson Home as a Scandinavian Interior. With each room focused on materials blending cohesively, the rooms holid unity in the home‘s interior. A curved centre peice in the Kitchen encourages the space to feel like a room with customised bespoke built in furniture rather than your every day kitchen. My clients main objective for the homes interior, forming a space where guests were able to interact with the host at times of entertaining. Unifying the kitchen, dining and living spaces will change the layout making the kitchen the focal point of entrace into the home.

For this knock down rebuild in the Canberra suburb of O'Connor the interior design aesethic was modern and sophisticated. A monochrome palette of marble hexagon tiles paired with soft grey tiles and black and gold tap wear have been used in this bathroom.

The Clients brief was to take a tired 90's style bathroom and give it some bizazz. While we have not been able to travel the last couple of years the client wanted this space to remind her or places she had been and cherished.

Stunning bathroom designed with modern aesthetics and a focus on luxurious functionality. The standout feature in this space is the floating vanity, which adds a touch of contemporary elegance. A mirrored shaving cabinet is strategically placed above the vanity, providing ample storage and serving as a practical and stylish addition.

To meet the client‘s brief and maintain the character of the house it was decided to retain the existing timber framed windows and VJ timber walling above tiles. The client loves green and yellow, so a patterned floor tile including these colours was selected, with two complimentry subway tiles used for the walls up to the picture rail. The feature green tile used in the back of the shower. A playful bold vinyl wallpaper was installed in the bathroom and above the dado rail in the toilet. The corner back to wall bath, brushed gold tapware and accessories, wall hung custom vanity with Davinci Blanco stone bench top, teardrop clearstone basin, circular mirrored shaving cabinet and antique brass wall sconces finished off the look. The picture rail in the high section was painted in white to match the wall tiles and the above VJ‘s were painted in Dulux Triamble to match the custom vanity 2 pak finish. This colour framed the small room and with the high ceilings softened the space and made it more intimate. The timber window architraves were retained, whereas the architraves around the entry door were painted white to match the wall tiles. The adjacent toilet was changed to an in wall cistern and pan with tiles, wallpaper, accessories and wall sconces to match the bathroom Overall, the design allowed open easy access, modernised the space and delivered the wow factor that the client was seeking.

This lovely bathroom has everything that represents good design: well balanced; functional; aesthetically pleasing, interesting and individual; good use of space; and not only meeting, but exceeding, the clients' brief. The carefully chosen floor and feature wall tiles add a definite individual stamp, and allude to perhaps an art deco or retro mood. The room would be simply just another white bathroom without them. The white and black of the tiles is reflected in the selection of the white wall tiles and black tapware and accessories. The monochrome theme is then softened and made more inviting by the addition of the timber vanity with its fluted basins. The pretty mirrors are the touch of genius here, defying the straight lines elsewhere, and asserting their style on the whole. Successfully blending styles, shapes, colours and textures is the key to a result that supersedes the ordinary and says: 'This is my space'. The right advice and professional knowhow, including correct execution (note the beautiful tiling by our talented tilers), is also essential to ensure a polished designer-look. Adding oak timber veneer cabinetry against a neutral palette made the bathroom very inviting and day spa esk especially with the warm feature light under the shower bench seat. The triple mirrored cabinet provides an abundance of eye level storage.

The bathroom is minimalist. It has neutral tone such as white and very light grey. The texture of the mosaic tiles, marble tiles and terrazzo floor tiles create variation and interest in different surfaces.
