SeaThru is a new, waterfront, modern home. SeaThru was inspired by the mid-century modern homes from our area, known as the Sarasota School of Architecture. This homes designed to offer more than the standard, ubiquitous rear-yard waterfront outdoor space. A central courtyard offer the residents a respite from the heat that accompanies west sun, and creates a gorgeous intermediate view fro guest staying in the semi-attached guest suite, who can actually SEE THROUGH the main living space and enjoy the bay views. Noble materials such as stone cladding, oak floors, composite wood louver screens and generous amounts of glass lend to a relaxed, warm-contemporary feeling not typically common to these types of homes. This elegant master bath brings a serene and peaceful beach feel to this stunning home. The pass-through shower features a white, textured, wavy tile surround and a dividing wall with designer tile meant to emulate a stunning waterfall. Champagne bronze plumbing fixtures, Cambria countertop, and Dura Supreme Cabinetry add to the design. A special thanks to the fabulous extensions of our team including, but not limited to White Ox Creative and DGC Contracting llc.

The shower was designed to accommodate a curbless install, so the floor was sloped down towards the linear drain. The glass was ordered in "extra clear" so as not to cast the typical blue-green hue that most shower glass has. We also ordered the anti-smudge glass, so squeegeeing is not as critical after every shower.

we made the shampoo niches tall enough and wide enough to accommodate the many hair care products, and added a shorter one above for the razor, loofah, soap, etc.

Custom curbless glass shower. Instead of a regular drain in the center of the glass-sided shower, a linear drain catches water, makes an attractive design element, and eliminates the need for a threshold.

Simplicity and functionality merged perfectly in this bathroom. A single vanity, Duravit© toilet, and built-in storage make the most of limited space.
