This project was a joy to work on, as we married our firm’s modern design aesthetic with the client’s more traditional and rustic taste. We gave new life to all three bathrooms in her home, making better use of the space in the powder bathroom, optimizing the layout for a brother & sister to share a hall bath, and updating the primary bathroom with a large curbless walk-in shower and luxurious clawfoot tub. Though each bathroom has its own personality, we kept the palette cohesive throughout all three.

This bathroom got a punch of personality with this modern, monochromatic design. Grasscloth wallpaper, new lighting and a stunning vanity brought this space to life. La salle d'eau fut un petit challenge ! Très petite, nous avons pu installer le minimum avec des astuces: un wc suspendu de faible profondeur, permettant l'installation d'un placard de rangement sur-mesure au-dessus. Une douche en quart de cercle gain de place. Mais surtout un évier spécial passant au-dessus d'un lave-linge faible profondeur !

Bright and fun bathroom featuring a floating, navy, custom vanity, decorative, patterned, floor tile that leads into a step down shower with a linear drain. The transom window above the vanity adds natural light to the space.

A walnut freestanding vanity unit with terrazzo top. Brass taps and pink kit-kat tiles. Bathroom rated wall lights and a large round brass framed mirror.

A blue pinstripe of tile carries the line of the tile wainscot through the shower while the original tub pairs with new, yet classic plumbing fixtures.

Ingmar and his family found this gem of a property on a stunning London street amongst more beautiful Victorian properties. Despite having original period features at every turn, the house lacked the practicalities of modern family life and was in dire need of a refresh...enter Lucy, Head of Design here at My Bespoke Room.

This new build architectural gem required a sensitive approach to balance the strong modernist language with the personal, emotive feel desired by the clients. Taking inspiration from the California MCM aesthetic, we added bold colour blocking, interesting textiles and patterns, and eclectic lighting to soften the glazing, crisp detailing and linear forms. With a focus on juxtaposition and contrast, we played with the ‘mix’; utilising a blend of new & vintage pieces, differing shapes & textures, and touches of whimsy for a lived in feel.
