To create striking contrast, we paired a dark brown countertop with a dark brown stained vanity, which stand out against the lighter tiles and white crown molding.

An unfinished basement was renovated to include a fully functional bathroom, and rec room for the teenage kids. This is a modern space, although it is in the basement style and function were not sacrificed, as this is a bright and well designed space, although it is only a 5" x 8" bathroom, a 43" floating vanity (with storage) was incorporated, a full size bathtub, toilet and open shelves for linens and accessories. This relatively compact space, in what used to be a box room, had to work really hard for itself and almost everything has been made bespoke to fit the space. We closed up the old landing door and added a new one from the bedroom. In addition to a large shower and generous vanity area, we also designed in a really practical laundry cupboard which the carpenter made on site. This is the kind of creating thinking which can really help you to get the most out of your space.
