This ocean-front shingled Gambrel style house is home to a young family with little kids who lead an active, outdoor lifestyle. My goal was to create a bespoke, colorful and eclectic interior that looked sophisticated and fresh, but that was tough enough to withstand salt, sand and wet kids galore. The palette of coral and blue is an obvious choice, but we tried to translate it into a less expected, slightly updated way, hence the front door! Liberal use of indoor-outdoor fabrics created a seamless appearance while preserving the utility needed for this full time seaside residence.

Through the sliding door with glass panels, you can see the walk-in pantry and wine fridge. The pantry has it's own window to make the small space feel open with glass on two walls.
Waterview Kitchens
Gorgeous all blue kitchen cabinetry featuring brass and gold accents on hood, pendant lights and cabinetry hardware. The stunning intracoastal waterway views and sparkling turquoise water add more beauty to this fabulous kitchen.

Cutouts on the under-sink cabinet doors add to the sense that this house was ultimately meant as a place to take life less seriously.

Another beautiful remodel designed by Terri DuBose. This 1960's ranch in Selva Marina Country Club was just transformed into a luxurious beach style family paradise. The Brennan family of seven now has every modern convenience in an open, spacious kitchen with a huge farm table, eat-in island and timeless wood-look porcelain tile floors. The recessed door style of the painted Shiloh cabinets, quartz counters and white subway tile is classically elegant with a modern twist. Obsessed

This cabana kitchen is just off the indoor pool. It was the perfect place to create a beach retreat. Unnecessary wall cabinets were removed and replace with thick floating shelves so everything for entertaining is right at your fingertips. . We used 6 X 36 driftwood colored porcelain tiles for behind the shelves, appliances and backsplash all the way up to the ceiling. We added the molding at the cabinet line in the same edge profile as the shelves. New range, hood and refrigerator greatly improved the look from the old Hi-LO range. An abstract seascape painting and a brightly colored vintage patchwork carpet make this a happy place to escape to.. Marco Ricca
