The client asked us to create a low maintenance, highly functional front entry to this beachfront retreat. As with most beach homes, guest parking is critical and creating an easy to navigate parking area is paramount to design success. We chose to maximize the front yard without turning it into a parking lot. Native crushed stone parking pads surrounded by sun loving, drought tolerant plants create exactly what the client was looking for.

These Mount Pleasant homeowners were looking to convert their porch into a sanctuary. Working with Laura Shay at Aiden Fabrics, the family chose Outdura fabrics for their featured bed swing in a color way that represented the surrounding Lowcountry marsh. Sticking with simple colors and choices like soft grey-green and pale lime, they created a restful retreat without detracting from the surrounding natural landscape and beauty. In this instance, nature itself is the “pop” of color.

Our client wanted a rustic chic look for their covered porch. We gave the crown molding and trim a more formal look, but kept the roof more rustic with open rafters. At Atlanta Porch & Patio we are dedicated to building beautiful custom porches, decks, and outdoor living spaces throughout the metro Atlanta area. Our mission is to turn our clients’ ideas, dreams, and visions into personalized, tangible outcomes.
