Imperfect Interiors
We painted the primary bedroom of this Isle of Wight holiday home in a blue green, added new trims & ironmongery to the existing wardrobes and installed plaster cornicing. We also added double pocket doors into the en-suite and an antique dressing table & chair

Space was at a premium in this 1930s bedroom refurbishment, so textured panelling was used to create a headboard no deeper than the skirting, while bespoke birch ply storage makes use of every last millimeter of space.
The circular cut-out handles take up no depth while relating to the geometry of the lamps and mirror.
Muted blues, & and plaster pink create a calming backdrop for the rich mustard carpet, brick zellige tiles and petrol velvet curtains.
Stark Carpet
A wool carpet in the Erica pattern captures in its fine net bolder motifs in the same blue-and-white color scheme that Cullman & Kravis devised for this master bedroom.

A bright, octagonal shaped sunroom and wraparound deck off the living room give this home its ageless appeal. A private sitting room off the largest master suite provides a peaceful first-floor retreat. Upstairs are two additional bedroom suites and a private sitting area while the walk-out downstairs houses the home’s casual spaces, including a family room, refreshment/snack bar and two additional bedrooms.

Both guest rooms bring in the best of both luxury and practicality, encouraging guests to sleep in just a little bit later on Saturday morning or have their breakfast in bed. The guest rooms can accommodate out-of-town guests and teenage sleepovers as well as just be a great spot for laying down for an afternoon nap.

This is one of my favourite shots from this room as it captured most of the design detail in a tight frame. Its a favourite corner for both my clients to sit and read or watch TV. Set against this beautiful wallpaper, the swivel chair with its chrome base looks handsome and inviting. The table lamps with that black frill detail add a softness to the room. The custom double layered window treatments soften the light pouring into the room.

Call it beach- or coastal-cozy chic. Call it a spa-like retreat getaway room. No matter what you call it, it's the best room for a guest to feel at home.
