Space was at a premium in this 1930s bedroom refurbishment, so textured panelling was used to create a headboard no deeper than the skirting, while bespoke birch ply storage makes use of every last millimeter of space.
The circular cut-out handles take up no depth while relating to the geometry of the lamps and mirror.
Muted blues, & and plaster pink create a calming backdrop for the rich mustard carpet, brick zellige tiles and petrol velvet curtains.

Each element of this bedroom was chosen with a purpose in mind, to create an elegant yet calming space. Neutral colours were chosen in the layers of linen bedding, the wall colour, and the styling elements. The mirrored bedside table takes on an ethereal presence as it takes on it's surroundings. The rug is one of the heros of the room. Alluding to heirloom items that stand th etest of time, the rug from Armadillo and Co offers a complimentary hue to the greenish grey wall. It grounds the space and lifts the other neutrals. References to classicism was chosen in the print and the form of the bedside tables. A truly calming, and casual elegance.
