The Cleary CompanyDesign-Build project included converting an unused formal living room in our client's home into a billiards room complete with a custom bar and humidor.
Shepel Homes - Kitchen and BathThis project repurposed a plain white closet into a convenient and dry bar cabinet that nails that modern look with its sophisticated warm black color. With elongated hexagon mirrors in the backsplash, light strips in the corners, and light beaming from the design, the lighting effect appears as if it is naturally well-lit.
Modern style always requests sleek, current details, like a finger pull drawer. This Sleek Modern Dry Bar has a built-in fridge and drawers perfect for the wine setup.
Last but not least, we also converted the door beside the sleek modern dry bar to a modern design accentuated by a glass. Door trims were removed, and we painted the door's jambs with warm black color that matches the modern dry bar awesomely, enhancing the sleek and modern look even further.
Imperfect InteriorsThis detached home in West Dulwich was opened up & extended across the back to create a large open plan kitchen diner & seating area for the family to enjoy together. We added oak herringbone parquet to this whisky room, bespoke joinery, a hidden wine fridge & panelling to make it feel cosy & elegant
Amuneal Manufacturing Corp.Amuneal’s kitchens and bars bring unexpected materials and finishes to create truly special installations. This bar uses the old-world technique of hand-burning wood to create a dynamic finish that highlights the organic nature of the raw materials. The charred pine door and drawer faces are juxtaposed with crisp machined hardware and a hand-patinated watery brass top to create a look that feels both contemporary and timeless. Amuenal’s signature Contour Pulls span the full length of each door and drawer. The 3-Bay Collector’s Shelving Backbar unit in gunmetal and bronze is the perfect match to the humble complexity of this unit and featuring a Knife Edge lower shelf in Ebonized Oak and glass upper shelves.

Todd Whittaker Drywall Inc.TWD was honored to remodel multiple rooms within this Valley home. The kitchen came out absolutely striking. This space features plenty of storage capacity with the two-toned cabinetry in Linen and in Navy from Waypoint, North Cascades Quartz countertops, backsplash tile from Bedrosians and all of the fine details and options included in this design.. The beverage center utilizes the same Navy cabinetry by Waypoint, open shelving, 3" x 12" Spanish glazed tile in a herringbone pattern, and matching quartz tops. The custom media walls is comprised of stacked stone to the ceiling, Slate colored cabinetry by Waypoint, open shelving and upgraded electric to allow the electric fireplace to be the focal point of the space.
La Costa Cabinets & DesignAn alcove becomes a moody bar scene drenched in a deep rich black paint, black stone countertops, accented with warm wood floating shelves and copper antique mesh. Under shelf lighting illuminates the display area on the shelves and extra bottles are stored neatly in the custom diagonal open shelving rack to the side of the wine fridge.
Everything HomeOur Carmel design-build studio was tasked with organizing our client’s basement and main floor to improve functionality and create spaces for entertaining.
In the basement, the goal was to include a simple dry bar, theater area, mingling or lounge area, playroom, and gym space with the vibe of a swanky lounge with a moody color scheme. In the large theater area, a U-shaped sectional with a sofa table and bar stools with a deep blue, gold, white, and wood theme create a sophisticated appeal. The addition of a perpendicular wall for the new bar created a nook for a long banquette. With a couple of elegant cocktail tables and chairs, it demarcates the lounge area. Sliding metal doors, chunky picture ledges, architectural accent walls, and artsy wall sconces add a pop of fun.
On the main floor, a unique feature fireplace creates architectural interest. The traditional painted surround was removed, and dark large format tile was added to the entire chase, as well as rustic iron brackets and wood mantel. The moldings behind the TV console create a dramatic dimensional feature, and a built-in bench along the back window adds extra seating and offers storage space to tuck away the toys. In the office, a beautiful feature wall was installed to balance the built-ins on the other side. The powder room also received a fun facelift, giving it character and glitz.

Morris LareThis beautiful seating area in the sun room features a custom Coffee Station/Dry Bar with quartz counter tops, featuring honey bronze hardware and plenty of storage and the ability to display your favorite items behind the glass display cabinets. Beautiful white oak floors through out the home, finished with soft touches such as a neutral colored area rug, custom window treatments, large windows allowing plenty of natural light, custom Lee slipcovers, perfectly placed bronze reading lamps and a woven basket to hold your favorite reading materials.
Kelly Scanlon Interior DesignAn otherwise unremarkable lower level is now a layered, multifunctional room including a place to play, watch, sleep, and drink. Our client didn’t want light, bright, airy grey and white - PASS! She wanted established, lived-in, stories to tell, more to make, and endless interest. So we put in true French Oak planks stained in a tobacco tone, dressed the walls in gold rivets and black hemp paper, and filled them with vintage art and lighting. We added a bar, sleeper sofa of dreams, and wrapped a drink ledge around the room so players can easily free up their hands to line up their next shot or elbow bump a teammate for encouragement! Soapstone, aged brass, blackened steel, antiqued mirrors, distressed woods and vintage inspired textiles are all at home in this story - GAME ON!
Check out the laundry details as well. The beloved house cats claimed the entire corner of cabinetry for the ultimate maze (and clever litter box concealment).

ImprovaThis modern contemporary style dry bar area features Avant Stone Bianco Orobico - honed, benchtop and splash back with a sliding door to hide the bar when not in use.
TruKitchensThis bar lives in the kitchen space, just off the living room. For the cabinetry, a custom dark stain was used on rift cut white oak in Grabill Cabinet's Lacunar door style. Glass upper cabinets add sparkle and interest to the clean lines of the door style.
