In the divide between the kitchen and family room, we built storage into the buffet. We applied moulding to the columns for an updated and clean look. We made the fireplace’s surround and mantle to match the raised paneled doors on the built-in storage cabinets on the right. This client wanted a transitional using the colors blue, yellow and grays. We selected navy fabric for the sofa. We used geometric designs, hounds tooth, and plaid in the rug and fabrics in grays, blues and yellows along with driftwood finishes. What a fun space to watch football as a family.
