Simple clean design...in this master bathroom renovation things were kept in the same place but in a very different interpretation. The shower is where the exiting one was, but the walls surrounding it were taken out, a curbless floor was installed with a sleek tile-over linear drain that really goes away. A free-standing bathtub is in the same location that the original drop in whirlpool tub lived prior to the renovation. The result is a clean, contemporary design with some interesting "bling" effects like the bubble chandelier and the mirror rounds mosaic tile located in the back of the niche.

Contemporary comfortable taps make washing and showering a pleasant and quick process. The black color of the taps contrasts beautifully with the white ceiling and multi-colored walls. The bathroom has an original high-quality lighting consisting of a few stylish miniature lamps built into the ceiling. Thanks to the soft light emitted by the lamps, the room space is visually enlarged. At home, spa-like luxury in Boulder, CO Seeking an at-home spa-like experience, our clients sought out Melton Design Build to design a master bathroom and a guest bathroom to reflect their modern and eastern design taste. The primary includes a gorgeous porcelain soaking tub for an extraordinarily relaxing experience. With big windows, there is plenty of natural sunlight, making the room feel spacious and bright. The wood detail space divider provides a sleek element that is both functional and beautiful. The shower in this primary suite is elegant, designed with sleek, natural shower tile and a rain shower head. The modern dual bathroom vanity includes two vessel sinks and LED framed mirrors (that change hues with the touch of a button for different lighting environments) for an upscale bathroom experience. The overhead vanity light fixtures add a modern touch to this sophisticated primary suite.

This project was not only full of many bathrooms but also many different aesthetics. The goals were fourfold, create a new master suite, update the basement bath, add a new powder bath and my favorite, make them all completely different aesthetics. Primary Bath-This was originally a small 60SF full bath sandwiched in between closets and walls of built-in cabinetry that blossomed into a 130SF, five-piece primary suite. This room was to be focused on a transitional aesthetic that would be adorned with Calcutta gold marble, gold fixtures and matte black geometric tile arrangements. Powder Bath-A new addition to the home leans more on the traditional side of the transitional movement using moody blues and greens accented with brass. A fun play was the asymmetry of the 3-light sconce brings the aesthetic more to the modern side of transitional. My favorite element in the space, however, is the green, pink black and white deco tile on the floor whose colors are reflected in the details of the Australian wallpaper. Hall Bath-Looking to touch on the home's 70's roots, we went for a mid-mod fresh update. Black Calcutta floors, linear-stacked porcelain tile, mixed woods and strong black and white accents. The green tile may be the star but the matte white ribbed tiles in the shower and behind the vanity are the true unsung heroes.

This bathroom remodel was designed by Nicole from our Windham showroom. This remodel features Cabico Essence cabinets with maple wood, Stretto door style (flat panel) and Bonavista (blue paint) finish. This remodel also features LG viatera Quartz countertop with Rococo color and standard edge. This also was used for shelves in the shower. The floor and shower walls is 12” x 24” by Mediterranean with Marmol Venatino color in honed. The shampoo niche is also in the same tile and color but in 2” x 2” size in honed. Other features includes Maax tub in white, Moen chrome faucet, Kohler Caxton white sink, Moen Chrome Showerhead, Moen Chrome Valve Trim, Moen Flara Chrome light fixture, Moen chrome Towel Ring, and Moen chrome double robe hook. The hardware is by Amerock with Chrome Handles and Knobs.

A barn door was the perfect solution for this bathroom entry. There wasn't enough depth for a traditional swinging one and there is a large TV mounted on the wall in the bathroom, so a pocket door wouldn't work either. Had to choose the 3 panel frosted glass to relate to the window configuration- obvi!
