Gray tiled floors create a light relief against the dark walls. Painting the architraves, skirting boards & internal doors the same colour as the walls keeps the lines 'clean' and not 'fussy'. The timber is accentuated against the darker colours and the open risers allows much needed natural light to flood into the space. Phtographer - Jessie May
Garret Cord Werner Architects & Interior Designers
This project is a great example of how to transform a historic architectural home into a very livable and modern aesthetic. The home was completely gutted and reworked. All lighting and furnishings were custom designed for the project by Garret Cord Werner. The interior architecture was also completed by our firm to create interesting balance between old and new.
Please note that due to the volume of inquiries & client privacy regarding our projects we unfortunately do not have the ability to answer basic questions about materials, specifications, construction methods, or paint colors. Thank you for taking the time to review our projects. We look forward to hearing from you if you are considering to hire an architect or interior Designer.
Historic preservation on this project was completed by Stuart Silk.

Prestige Metal
Horizontal stainless systems.
To add the final touch to any contemporary atmosphere, choose the square, stainless steel posts that will match perfectly the fine rectangular rods used with ultramodern glass supports.
New Outlooks Construction
Why pay for a vacation when you have a backyard that looks like this? You don't need to leave the comfort of your own home when you have a backyard like this one. The deck was beautifully designed to comfort all who visit this home. Want to stay out of the sun for a little while? No problem! Step into the covered patio to relax outdoors without having to be burdened by direct sunlight.

Mystic Water Gardens
The after photo of an interior staircase. Our clients wanted to turn the space under their indoor staircase into a small Zen Garden with a bubbling pot.
