A serene colour palette with shades of Dulux Bruin Spice and Nood Co peach concrete adds warmth to a south-facing bathroom, complemented by dramatic white floor-to-ceiling shower curtains. Finishes of handmade clay herringbone tiles, raw rendered walls and marbled surfaces adds texture to the bathroom renovation.

Powder room with a punch! Handmade green subway tile is laid in a herringbone pattern for this feature wall. The other three walls received a gorgeous gold metallic print wallcovering. A brass and marble sink with all brass fittings provide the perfect contrast to the green tile backdrop. Walnut wood flooring

Toilets are a place for being expressive. In this small space the beautiful blue tiles break off an otherwise all white bathroom.

Geometrical 3D tiles adds interest for a feature wall in the powder room. Striking black and white contrast creates a modern look while a wood tone tile and brass hardware adds warmth to the space.

This unapologetically sexy powder room is drenched in a rich plumb color (Farrow & Ball 222 Brinjal). It compliments the jazzy Andy Warhol print for Chanel, and the three dimensional Atlas Concorde tile accent wall. The clean look is completed with brushed gold fixtures and minimal elegance. This new house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood developed in the 1920’s, that is in transition, with new larger homes replacing the original modest-sized homes. The house is designed to be harmonious with its traditional neighbors, with divided lite windows, and hip roofs. The roofline of the shingled house steps down with the sloping property, keeping the house in scale with the neighborhood. The interior of the great room is oriented around a massive double-sided chimney, and opens to the south to an outdoor stone terrace and gardens. Photo by: Nat Rea Photography
