Courtyard Deck House

The courtyard deck is set between the existing house and the extension, bringing light into the 'heart' of the house. The dining room overlooks the deck which serves as an outdoor living space in summer. Sliding doors pull back to allow the children to move freely between inside and outside. Carved-out hand-painted grey ceilings give identity to each space in the extension. Photos by Tatjana Plitt
