This re-imagined open plan space where a white gloss galley once stood offers a stylish update on the traditional kitchen layout.
The removal of all wall cabinets opens out the room to add much needed light and create a vista. Focus is drawn to areas of special focus using the patterned tiles creating carpets to house each of the zones.
This is now a multifunctional space to be enjoyed by all family members.

A New Day - Interior Design Studio
Formal dining room in a Highgate property with interior design by A New Day. Iconic Wishbone dining chairs surround an oval marble table, with toile wallpaper creating an impactful and cosy dining space. A gloss painted ceiling reflects the lighting to help create a gorgeous evening atmosphere in the lower ground floor space.
Hinteria
Elegant living-room and dining-room area with some Scandinavian elements. A perfect combination of color, wallpaper and natural oak wood.
The color palette in blues gives a calm sensation and becomes warmer adding natural texture in the wool rugs and the pendant lamp shade, which, placed centrally, announces itself as the focal point of the room. Built-in cabinet in metal, natural oak and a touch of color, that includes the space for TV and art objects.

There were already 4 can lights in this space and it didn't need more light so I just added this Candle iron scroll picked up at Crate and Barrel over the table for accent lighting. The Pussy Willows are from my sisters yard and get refreshed yearly. They are a great natural accent. Linda Parsons
