This transitional dining room is sophisticated and beautiful with its blue walls contrasting with the light finishes and fabrics. With a touch of emerald in the chairs and accessories giving it a fresh feel, and the mirrored console and metallic artwork, this space is great for everyday living and entertaining.

This dining room was designed to create a moody and cozy atmosphere. The dark blue wall colour ads an element of drama, contrasted by a gold branch sculpture on the wall and two sconces on the farther end. A heritage rustic dining table is softened by tufted cream coloured linen dining chairs and accented with gold cutlery.

This dining room cabinet replaced an existing sliding door cabinet. The client wanted an open storage solution that would highlight their glass ware and bae a focal point for the room. The copper backsplash reflected copper touches in other parts of the home.

Accent walls don't need to be small. Check out this teal painted wall that ties the dining area and living space together in this Ottawa town home.

We created a light fixture (based on Lindsay Adelman's You Make It) and had it plated copper to coordinate with the lovely copper chairs. Both metal pieces were not sealed and allow the natural patina and fingerprints to add interesting texture and warmth. The shades were of a natural material and allow light to pass through for an airy feel but diffuse it enough to avoid a harsh glare.
